Jane Burton is from Coralville, Iowa and completed her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Neuroscience at St. Olaf College. While at St. Olaf, she sang in the St. Olaf Choir, participating in many exciting choral opportunities including the annual St. Olaf Christmas Festival, domestic tours of the east and west coasts, and a month-long tour of Norway to celebrate the choir’s 100th anniversary. She also played viola in the Philharmonia Strings and played, sang, and directed several chamber and extracurricular groups. She recently graduated with her Doctor of Audiology from Vanderbilt University after completing her final year of clinical training at MUSC. While in Nashville, she sang with the Vanderbilt Symphonic Choir and Portara Ensemble. She has enjoyed her first season singing with the Taylor Festival Choir and as well as the opportunity to perform with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus. She will be returning to Vanderbilt in Fall 2017 to begin working towards a PhD in auditory neuroscience.
