Leah Keyes Durham holds the Bachelor of Music degree in choral music education from Furman University and the Master of Music degree in choral conducting performance from Louisiana State University. Mrs. Durham has performed as a concert soloist in Bach’s Magnificat, Mozart’s Mass in C minor, Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G minor. She has taught choral music at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and has conducted collegiate and church choirs. Choirs under her direction have won superior ratings at state and regional festivals, and her students have earned spots in the SC Elementary Honor Choir, SC Middle School All-State Choir, and the Texas High School All-State Choir. Leah served as the District Teacher of the Year for Anderson School District 4 (SC) and as the Middle School Chair for the SC American Choral Directors Association. In addition to singing with the Taylor Festival Choir, she is also a member of the Foothills Chorale in Clemson, SC.
