Sara Lucille Law is a twenty-five year old New York City based Soprano. Praised for her “... striking stage presence and pinpoint high coloratura.” (South Florida Classical Review), as well as her “...lightness, brightness, and clarity of tone” (Voce di Meche), Sara was last seen as la Fée in New York Lyric Opera theatre’s production of Cendrillon. Previous roles also include Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Gianetta (The Gondoliers), Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring), and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro). Recently, Sara won a regional BroadwayWorld award for “Best Actress in a Musical” for her work in Sweeney Todd. Additionally, she made her professional debut with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra as the Soprano Soloist on their annual Holiday Pops! concert. Sara has been an Apprentice Artist with Miami Music Festival as well as a Young Artist with both The Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Center and Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory, and is currently a Presidential Scholarship recipient and a second year candidate for her Master’s of Music at the Mannes School of Music. Sara studies under the tutelage of Amy Burton.
